Mission Statement 

The mission of the Deacon Body of Houston’s First Baptist Church is:

• To support, under the leadership of the Pastor, the ministries of HFBC and to identify, develop and carry out specific ministries to address needs of the congregation and the community

• To promote and protect a biblical spirit of unity within HFBC
  
• To identify, recruit and develop future servant-minded leadership for HFBC
