Description
Responsible for the financial support of one or more major construction projects. Primary work location will be at the construction site offices, but may temporarily be assigned to other work locations. Prepare cash and operational budgets and forecasts and analyze and explain variances. Supervise the accounting support staff including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger. Prepare revenue and cost accruals.
Qualifications
- Accounting degree with a minimum of seven to ten years of Construction industry experience
- CPA
- SOX 404 work experience
- Supervisory experience
- JDE experience preferred

MANAGER ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Description
Position will rebuild the Accounts Payable function and integrate it into the new Procurement Group and be part of the US construction controllers group. Provide training and support for the accounts payable staff. Monitor the accounts payable vendors for compliance. Resolve internal and external audit issues. Will manage two to three supervisors and fifteen to twenty personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Engineering
- Five + years of experience with JD Edwards A/P and Procurement modules
- Experience managing a large group
- Familiar with supply-chain concepts and processes
- Ability to manage the accounts payable function and interface with procurement, project controls and operations
- Must have SOX 404 compliance experience

Qualifications
- CPA and/or Masters in Tax
- 5+ Years Corporate Tax Experience (preferably some mix of public accounting and industry), with both domestic and international issues
- FAS 109 Experience
- International Tax Experience - Including researching/assessing tax ramifications of performing work in new countries and assisting operations personnel in factoring these tax ramifications into client proposals
- Tax Research Experience - In income and other indirect tax issues
- Technical Writing Experience - For Management/Audit Memos
- Ability to Travel (10-15% TOTAL: Domestic: 60%; International 40%)
- Public Accounting Tax Experience
