Guatemala City, Guatemala Trip (with Casa Bernabe Orphanage)

Dates: Jun 16-24, 2012

Cost: $1500

Leader: Mimí Márquez & Ashley Severance

Focus: Orphanage & Evangelism

At Casa Bernabe children find acceptance, stability and healing in the love of Jesus. Casa Benabe is a beautiful 13-acre campus near Guatemala City that is home to more than 150 children. All of the children come out of difficult living situations. Some are orphans, others have been abandoned, others abused. Despite their past, these children are FULL of JOY! This is an opportunity for you to experience the “religion that our Father accepts as pure and faultless.”

Join us as we intentionally live out life with these incredible children, participating in such activities as: playing games, special projects, daily chores, bible study, sports, tutoring, praying together, and much, much more! In addition, you will have the opportunity to pour into the lives of the men and women whom care for these children on a daily basis.

Cost: $1700

Focus: Evangelism & Water Drilling

Living Water International (LWI) Nicaragua is currently working in and around the cities of Rivas (red square on the map to the left) and León. Each year the LWI team partners with many mission groups from North America to make generational change through the gift of clean water and through the grace of the Living Water that is Jesus. Team members will invest in a specific community as they use an LS300 drill rig with our in-country drillers and work alongside our hygiene team to teach proper sanitation techniques and Bible stories. They will make meaningful relationships, experience a slower pace of life, and play witness to the faithfulness of God, returning home transformed.
