It is this reputation that lays the foundation upon which The School of Fine Arts is built.
The School of Fine Arts offers instruction in many disciplines to develop each student’s God-given talents and abilities to their fullest potential for service in ministry, their profession, or simply for personal enjoyment. The School provides children and adults, whether beginners or experts, with the highest quality education in music and the arts with instruction from Christian professionals and artists.
Houston’s First offers a unique scenario in this city that allows people within and outside of the church to grow in their God-given talents, be taught by the finest Christian musicians and artists, and learn within a warm and welcoming environment.
We believe that if we take David’s words in Psalms 33:3 and “play skillfully before the Lord,” it is, therefore, our responsibility as a church to provide the venue by which one may learn to do so with excellence.
