Registration

To sign up for lessons at the School of Fine Arts, fill out the online enrollment form for new students or returning students.

Please be sure to include all contact information as well as lesson preferences. As soon as registration and payment are received, you will be notified by email.


Registrations are processed in the order they are received. If a group lesson is requested for a group that is already full, you will be notified by phone at the number supplied on the registration form. Group lessons have a minimum number of students for a class to be scheduled. If that minimum is not reached you will be notified at the number supplied and a full refund will be given.


Scheduling

Upon receipt of enrollment form and registration fee, parent will receive a confirmation email containing the date the lesson will begin, time lessons will be taught and instructor information. Sixteen lessons are scheduled per semester.


The school is open for lessons during the following days and time

  • Mon, Tue & Thu: 11a-8p
  • Wed: 11a-4p
  • Thu: Drama Lessons only from 4-7p *
  • Fri: 11a-5p
  • Sat: 8a-3p

*  Elementary Drama Students will have class from 4-6p.  Middle School and High School Drama Students will have class from 5-7p.  ALL Drama Students will meet together for a workshop at 5p.


Absences should be reported to the school administrator, Nancy Pollard, at 713.957.5889, as well as communicated to the teacher.


Tuition

Students may choose from two payment options:

  1. In full with application
  2. Four monthly installments using check or credit card with a $20 convenience fee


Private Lessons

Group Lessons

120 minute Drama group lessons *

Monthly Installments

For convenience of parents, the monthly installment is made up of four equal payments. Payments remain the same regardless of the number of weeks in the month. These payments are due on the 15th of the month.


The monthly installments are not related to the number of lessons in a month. The total tuition for the semester is divided into four installments.


Fall Payment Due Dates:

  • Payment #1 - Time of registration through January 15
  • Payment #2 - February 15
  • Payment #3 - March 15
  • Payment #4 - April 15


Fees

  • A $25 annual registration fee is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable. Family maximum fee is $50.
  • A convenience fee of $20 is due if selecting monthly tuition installments. This may be divided into 4 payments of $5 paid with each installment.
  • A 3% processing fee if chosen method of payment is credit card.
  • The School of Fine Arts reserves the right to charge a $10 late fee if payment is not received by the 15th of the month. The balance due plus the $10 late fee may be charged to the credit card provided upon registration/enrollment application if payment is not received within two weeks of the due date. The School of Fine Arts reserves the right to cancel and/or deny lessons for payments not received.
  • Recital absence fee $35.
