Have you ever trained for something in advance? A sporting event, maybe? The idea of training goes far beyond athletics as we're encouraged in scripture to train in advance for every challenge put in front of us.

Join us for our Summit Retreat as we get out of the city and spend the weekend lakeside at Trinity Pines on Lake Livingston where we'll be led through teaching on how to prepare our hearts and minds for the year ahead.

We'll offer teaching by Marc & Leigh Kohler and worship by Ryan Langford & Chris Cullins. Additionally you can take advantage of a variety of breakout sessions led by your Summit Life Bible Study Teachers. Plus we'll welcome a series of Sports Celebrities including:

Morgan Ensberg - former Houston Astros Third Baseman
Cliff Pennington - current Oakland Athletics Shortstop and first round draft pick from Texas A&M
Bubba Crosby - former New York Yankees outfielder and first round draft pick from Rice
Joe Savery - current minor league player for Philadelphia Phillies and former first round draft pick from Rice
Brian Friday - current minor league player for Pittsburgh Pirates and former third round pick from Rice
