Description: Monday GPS (Gathering Place Social) is a ministry designed to meet the needs of adults diagnosed with early to moderate stages of memory loss due to dementia, stroke or injury. Monthly fellowships include engaging social interaction, stimulating exercise and a variety of refreshments. Volunteers are needed with the following qualifications: the love of people, compassion for helping, laughter and the ability to demonstrate a gentle spirit.
Description: Volunteers will contribute as members of this fellowship group for those who have lost a spouse through death. You are invited to come and share if you have experienced such a loss.
Description: Volunteers will equip lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals at Houston's First and the community who are experiencing difficulty in their lives.
