I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from Houston Graduate School of Theology and my Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communication from the University of Houston. Prior to entering full-time counseling, I worked full time for seven years in children’s ministry at Houston's First Baptist Church before joining the staff at the Julianna Poor Memorial Counseling Center.

My clinical work centers on attachment and developmental trauma. I believe many of the struggles people face—anxiety, depression, addiction, and relational distress—are deeply rooted in early attachment experiences and unmet developmental needs. My goal is to help clients understand how their stories have shaped them and to create a safe, attuned therapeutic relationship where healing can occur.

I am a trained EMDR therapist, a trained Theraplay therapist, and trained in Attachment-Focused Trauma Therapy for Adults (AFFT-A), as well as a facilitator for Prepare/Enrich and SYMBIS (premarital and marriage). I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, addiction, grief, family conflict, and marriage concerns. Whether addressing unresolved trauma, strengthening marital connection, or supporting families through developmental challenges, I seek to provide practical tools alongside relational healing.

My counseling approach is grounded in the belief that God designed us for secure attachment and loving communion with Him and one another. God gives us a way to reconcile these relational ruptures with others and within ourselves and is a part of the repair process. My aim is to walk alongside clients with curiosity and compassion, helping them move toward greater freedom, connection, and resilience.

Outside of counseling, I am a husband and a father. My family and I are originally from Cypress and plan to continue building our life here seeking to love our community well and cultivate a home centered on joy that comes from Christ
