About The Oaks

The Oaks Family Connection Center is a place of hope and healing for kinship, foster, and adoptive families in the greater Houston area. Partnering with Legacy 68:5’s Connection and Equipping Initiatives, we provide affordable and accessible holistic care for every member of the family. Our multidisciplinary team—including counselors, therapists, and legal professionals—walks alongside families navigating trauma and uncertainty. Through counseling, occupational and speech therapy, legal assistance, and supportive parent programs, we seek to prevent crises before they arise. At The Oaks, we believe in cultivating deep, lasting connections within families so that every child and caregiver feels safe, understood, and empowered. We count it a sacred honor to step into the lives of families, offering care that feels like home while leading them toward restoration and resilience.
