Looking for the perfect place to host your next birthday party or special event? The Fitness & Recreation Center at the Loop Campus of Houston’s First Baptist Church offers an exciting and family-friendly environment that will make your celebration unforgettable.

FRC FAQs

Your reservation includes exclusive access to our six-lane bowling alley, indoor Playlands, inflatable attractions, and a private party room with tables and chairs. The venue accommodates up to 60 guests.​

Parties can be scheduled during the following time slots:
  • Fridays: 4:30–7:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 9:30a.–12:30p, 1–4p, or 4:30–7:30p.​

You can view available time slots and reserve your party online through our booking system. Parties must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
The total cost is $450, which includes a $50 non-refundable reservation fee. Please note the $50 reservation fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another date.​
Your package includes:

  • Entry to indoor Promised Land playland and an inflatable bounce house

Feel free to stop by any weekday between 10a and 7p, and our front desk staff will be happy to give you a tour of the party space. For more information, call us at 713.957.6710.

You may cancel 30 days or more before the party and receive a full refund, excluding the reservation fee. If you cancel fewer than 30 days before the event, no refund is provided. If you change your date at least 30 days before your party and pay a new reservation fee, you may apply your rental fee to a new date. In all cases, the $50 reservation fee is non-refundable.
Yes, you can book two consecutive party slots. Please create two separate reservations, each requiring a $50 reservation fee (totaling $100). After both reservations are submitted, our party manager will deduct $50 from the total cost. Please note that double party bookings are subject to availability and limited to two reservations per day per family.​

You may bring in any food and drinks, but absolutely no alcohol, illegal substances, smoking, or open flames may be brought onto the premises. You are free to use crockpots, but not waffle irons or griddles. Please confine all food service to the party room to avoid fines.

You are welcome to hire family-friendly entertainment for your party including DJs, magicians, clowns, or the like. Please let us know about any outside entertainers or musicians when making your reservation.

Bowling parties include bowling balls and access to all lanes. Unlike typical bowling alleys, you are not required to wear bowling shoes, but all guests must wear socks and closed-toed shoes; flip-flops and open-toed footwear are not allowed.

The party room setup includes 10x48” round tables, 60 chairs (6 per table), and 3, 6x30” rectangular tables.

Note: please don’t use the piano, whiteboard, or TV; these are reserved for Bible Study use.

You’re welcome to bring in any decorations to make your event special, but please do not attach any adhesives (glue, sticky tack, thumbtacks) to painted surfaces. Use painter’s tape or frog tape only. Do not suspend decorations from ceilings, and please comply with posted safety codes. Decorations must be removed by the end of your party.

You’ll have a total 3-hour time slot which covers setup, the party, and cleanup. A $50 late fee is charged for every 10 minutes past the scheduled end time. We expect that you will leave the space as you found it, so be sure to dispose of all trash, take home any personal items, and return furniture to its original layout. Damage fees may apply for any facility damage.
